It has been three months since my last newsletter and exhibition. It has been a very busy time setting up my new studio/darkroom -- all while creating new works. I have seven exhibitions and a studio opening over the next three months with three major out of town exhibitions: Art Expo in Montreal and One of Kind Shows in Vancouver and Chicago.
A future objective is to increase my exposure in the United States. In 2009, I hope to add one or two exhibitions in the United States and look at US gallery representation. In fact, in June I had a New York gallery approach me about doing an exhibition this Fall. Due to my busy schedule, I decided that it was not the right time because I could not effectively prepare for the exhibition.

My next exhibition is this weekend at the Gladstone Hotel as I am participating in the Queen West Art Crawl. I am one of eleven artists participating at the Gladstone Hotel. Exhibition hours are as follows:

At this exhibition, I will be featuring my floral studies and releasing two new floral images. You can see one of the images above. I will also have my portfolio at the exhibition for your viewing. I hope to see you at the Gladstone.

Official Opening of Studio and Darkroom Facility
I have now entered a new and exciting phase of my photography career with the opening of my new studio/darkroom. This will allow me to experiment to further develop my distinctive style.
The weekend of September 19th - 21st, I have designated as the official opening. The schedule of events:

Sunday, September 21st 1 - 5 pm
At the opening, I will be releasing a new picture that is local to the area. The picture is Building G at the Humber College Lakeshore Campus. This campus offers an old world charm as the 19th century buildings have been retained.
This is a very exciting weekend and I hope you will be able visit my studio. I will be operating the studio on an appointment basis with special events during the year.
