Next Exhibition

At the One of a Kind Show, I am introducing four new pictures. As you remember last fall I introduced pears 'Jiving in the Rain'. Today, I am introducing the next dance style 'Tango in the Rain'. In the case of 'Jiving in the Rain', I used the Bosc Pear. While for 'Tango in the Rain', I used the Abrate Fetel Pear. This pear is a traditional Italian pear that historically been associated with being developed by monks centuries ago. Medium to large in size, this pear is tall and well rounded at the bottom. I selected the pears that were tall and more slender because I felt that it was best suited to the tango. Also, the tango is a very distinctive dance with a lot of feelings (e.g. romantic) and emotions. To bring this out in the artwork, I reduced the amount of rain.

Also, I am adding to my floral collection with a picture of three roses. The roses were a beautiful creamy off-white in colour which brought out a very antique look and feel. I call the piece 'The Opening'.
