Hope everyone has had a great summer! While I have not participated in any summer exhibitions, a lot has happened. I have created new work focusing on floral studies, watch for their release. Extensive changes have been made to my website including the introduction of PayPal. In hopes of cultivating a further awareness of my artwork, I have designed a beautiful brochure to introduce myself. Primarily, it will be used for galleries and interior designers in my major markets.

Exhibition - Delight Chocolate
One feature of the fall season is fresh pears. With an affinity for pears, I am featuring selected pear images, from my still life portfolio, in my exhibition at Delight Chocolate, 3040 Dundas Street West, Toronto, Ontario (the Junction). People often say that my artwork is far from still, as there is life and activity in the work, The exhibition will run from September 8th, 2010 to October 31st, 2010.

Delight is a proud part of the Junction Community. They are known not only for their Delicious Fair Trade Organic Chocolate, but also for their Handmade, Organic Fair Trade Ice Cream, Cookies, Brownies and other delectable treats as well as Alternative Grounds Coffee and Fair Trade Organic Tea. I hope everyone will take the opportunity of visiting my exhibition and trying some of Delight's 'treats'.
Also, Delight will be releasing their 'Pear Ice Cream'. In addition to their stable of unique ice creams, they also offer unique seasonal favors. Again all ice creams are handmade using organic products.
When you visit Delight, make sure to stop by their new sister business Junction Fromagerie which features all Canadian artisan cheeses and other specialty products. Junction Fromagerie is right next door to Delight.

Introduction of PayPal and Website Changes
In addition to updating the content on my website, you may have noticed some structural changes made over the last two months.
PayPal
In light of the increased security around the processing of credit card transactions and the protection to the consumer, I now provide a secure method of payment through PayPal for those interested in making online purchases. With PayPal, you can still use your credit card for payment or sign-up for your own PayPal account. It is your option; in either case, it is a secure method. PayPal provides easy instructions on how to make your payment.
Online Ordering
To facilitate the purchase of my artwork, a form is provided at the bottom of each Gallery page. Just click on the picture you are interested in ordering and complete the fields and submit your order. I will provide you with an order form containing the price, shipping costs, applicable taxes and estimated shipping date as well as a link to PayPal.
Also, as part of the order form is an information page that provides product details, a pricing chart, estimated shipping costs and payment information (dalemreidphotography.com/product_details).
Updated Slide Show
To provide greater ease of viewing my artwork, a new slide show has been implemented. The new slide show allows you to view all of the artwork with greater ease and easily go back to select the most interesting pictures.
