We are now entering another Christmas season and I am participating in the One of a Kind Shows in New York, Toronto and Chicago. What better time to buy that special gift for yourself or a family member or friend.

It just seems like that it was last year when I met some great people at these exhibitions. I look forward to chatting with you again and meeting new people. During the last year, in addition to creating new artwork, I have invested in the marketing of my artwork. First, I have updated my website to allow you to more easily view and order my artwork. Secondly, I introduced a brochure which is now in the hands of a number of galleries and interior designers in New York and Chicago. This is my fourth year at the Toronto Christmas One of a Kind Show and again this year, I will only be participating for the first 5-days of the show (November 25th to November 29th, 2010). For those who would personally like to meet with me, I will be at the show until 4 - 5 pm each day with the exception of Monday, November 29th when I will be there from 4 pm to 9 pm. Release of New Artwork

During the last year, the focus of my artwork has been mainly on floral and still life images. With still life images, I continue to work on my series of 'pears dancing in the rain'. Earlier this year, I released Tango in the Rain. As you are aware, there is no digital manipulation in creating these images and is a very time consuming process. I love the challenge as this pushes my creativity limits. I have been exploring other dance style, watch for a new dance style in the New Year.

For my floral studies, the focus has been primarily using lilies and orchids. As you are aware in the spring, I released the Lady Charlotte Clive, a South African flower. In addition to the new artwork for the One of a Kind Shows, I will have a framed triplet of the Lady Charlotte Clive available for the released price of $1,250.00 plus applicable taxes.

New Triplets

I am introducing two new triplets, 'Triple Erotica' and 'Nerine Lily'. The images are approximately 9" x 9" with an overall frame size of 19" x 42". The triplets are vertical and would be ideal for a small space in your home. They can also be ordered on as a horizontal presentation. They are priced at $795.00 plus applicable taxes.

Other Floral Images

I am always on the lookout for an orchid with a unique throat that I can add to my erotic floral series. For Erotic Floral #2, in the darkroom I dodged the dark area of the throat area to create softness.

For Leaf Veins, I shot this in the morning in Toronto's High Park. Rather than focusing on the flower of the Canna Lily, I used the natural back lighting of the sun to highlight the veins of the plant leaf.

I found the Cobra Lily at my local flower shop, Vanderfleet Florist. I was attracted to the Cobra Lily not only about its shape but also because of its unique texture, it had a paper feel. In creating the image Talking Lilies I positioned the flowers as if they were talking with a primarily focus on the back flower.

Pear Affair #2 - Edition Sold Out

That's right; the Pear Affair #2 image is now sold out. This is the first of my images that have been sold out. The companion image Pear Affair #1 is still available. I keep my editions small so that you have an opportunity to own a unique piece of my artwork. In my last e-newsletter I announced the introduction of an Online Ordering Tool and secure payment through PayPal. The order form is provided at the bottom of each Gallery page. Just click on the picture you are interested in ordering and complete the fields and submit your order. I will provide you with an order form containing the price, shipping costs, applicable taxes and estimated shipping date as well as a link to PayPal. With PayPal, you can still use your credit card for payment or sign-up for your own PayPal account. It is your option; in either case, it is a secure method. PayPal provides easy instructions on how to make your payment.
