Hope everyone had a great summer. Now that the beauty of the fall season is taking hold, I am busy preparing for my final three exhibitions for 2012.

That's right; I am adding two new pieces of art featuring one of my signature subject's, 'Pears'. They are a take-off of my very successful 'Pear Affair' series. The new pieces are called, 'Falling for You' and 'Nestling Pears'. They are now available in an edition size of ten and priced at $600 each.
The other two pictures are an addition to my mushroom series. Mushrooms are excellent subject material because of their unique shapes and textures. What do you see in the picture? 'Oyster Mushroom #2' and 'Oyster Mushroom #3' are now available in an edition size of five and are priced at $1,400 each.
Also, watch for further new artwork over the next month.

This year, Art off the Main is a new addition to the Contemporary Art Fair NYC. Art off the Main showcases the combined works from Africa, the Caribbean and Latin America.

Oyster Mushroom # 1 Recognized by ArtavitaAt Artavita's 2nd Photography Competition, Oyster Mushroom #1 received an Honorable Mention. This is the fourth recognition for this piece. In addition to the Honorable Mention at the 7th Annual Black & White Spider Awards, Oyster Mushroom #1 was selected in two juried gallery art exhibitions. The first exhibition was in Toronto at Propeller Centre for Visual Arts and the second exhibition in Chicago at Morpho Gallery.
Serafin writes: "Sometimes it seems that anyone can call themselves a photographer these days, armed with digital cameras, high resolution printers and some basic Photoshop ability. But skills like composition, lighting and perspective can't be replicated by computer software and still serve to set the trained artist aside from the dabbling hobbyist."

With PayPal, you can still use your credit card for payment or sign-up for your own PayPal account. It is your option; in either case, it is a secure method. PayPal provides easy instructions on how to make your payment.
