This year's selection of photographic works, curated by the distinguished Curatorial Committee, features established and emerging talents, making it a must-see event for art enthusiasts.

Two Exhibitions – Two Cities (An ocean apart!)

Exciting news! My artwork will be featured in two upcoming exhibitions, one in New York City and the other in Barcelona, Spain. Representing me in New York City will be Tata Fernandez of K-Art Projects USA, a subsidiary of Contemporary Art Projects USA. In Barcelona, I will be promoting my artwork through FotoNostrum, Mediterranean House of Photography.

I am thrilled to have the opportunity to share my artwork with audiences in both New York City and Barcelona. I hope to see you in Barcelona!

New York

In New York, three individual framed mushroom images will be showcased.

• Oyster Mushroom 2 - selected as one of the top 100 monochromatic images in 2023 by Dodho Magazine.
• Oyster Mushroom 52 and Shiitake Mushroom 1 – from the mushroom series awarded Best of Best, Other, Photography by Creative Communications Awards.

My unique mushroom images continue to be recognized internationally with gold, silver, and bronze awards. Ms. Fernandez would be pleased to assist you in the purchase of any of the mushroom images as well as "Diversity - Stronger Together."

Barcelona

In Barcelona, I will be showcasing my piece, "Diversity - Stronger Together."

This piece is framed at 41" square with an edition size of 2, plus 3 artist prints. In Barcelona, all artist images will be locally printed to standardize the gallery presentation. If you are interested in a framed image with silver gelatin prints from Canada, I would be pleased to assist in the purchase and shipping this image or any other image from my portfolio.

About the Image "Diversity - Stronger Together"

These figurative images and faces may not be conventionally beautiful or cute, but they speak volumes about the diversity and uniqueness of human identity. Unfortunately, society often shuns and marginalizes those who do not fit into the narrow confines of what is considered "normal." This fear of the unknown is something that right-wing extremists exploit to further their own agendas.

By starting a conversation and raising awareness about these issues, we can work towards a world where peace, love, and harmony reign. Let us embrace our differences and celebrate the beauty of our diversity. Together, we can make a positive change.

Publications: Fine Art 2023

I am thrilled to announce that my Casablanca 3 has been selected for the Top 100 Fine Art Photographers in the first edition! It is an honor to be featured alongside such talented artists.

The printed version of the book offers a unique tactile and visual experience, allowing readers to admire every detail of your work in a 30x30cm format, printed on 100# matte paper. Aird Gallery

More exciting news! My artwork, Oyster Mushroom 35, has been selected for the upcoming "wildlife" themed online exhibition at John B. Aird Gallery. The exhibition will be launched in April 2024 and will be available for viewing on the gallery's website for two months or more. Additionally, the downloadable artbook will be archived on the gallery's publication page.

The online project will feature a foreword by the Aird Gallery director and a response text by a guest writer selected by the Galerie Laroche/Joncas jurors. I am thrilled to be a part of this exhibition and cannot wait for you to see my artwork and the other incredible pieces on display.
